Kitesurfing, kiteskiing, kiteskating or general speaking kiting, can be done in Naxos Island. Many kitesurfers from aroud the world visit the island to benefit from the ideal wind during the summer months.

Mikri Vigla is one of the best places to practice kite surfing. The resort consists from two beautiful sandy beaches separated by a peninsula. The northern part of the resort is ideal for kite when there are north winds.

Kite courses for both beginners and advanced riders by certified IKO instructors are available.
